Welcome to Mang'u
A century of forming young men of character
Founded in 1925, Mang'u High School is a Catholic-sponsored national boys' boarding school set on the Nairobi–Thika highway in Kiambu County. For a hundred years it has paired academic rigour with a formation rooted in faith, service and self-discipline — the spirit of our motto, Jishinde Ushinde.
In 1951 Mang'u became the first African school in East Africa to offer a full science course in physics, chemistry and biology, and it went on to pioneer Aviation Technology as a national examination subject — a tradition of firsts that still defines the school today.

Where aviation is part of the curriculum
Mang'u's aviation tradition runs deep — from the Air Program of the 1960s to today's Aviation Technology classroom. The school has worked with Kenya Airways, the Kenya Air Force and partners such as the Kenya School of Flying, and received a retired Boeing 737 fuselage now serving as a hands-on learning hub on campus.
Learners explore propulsion, meteorology and aircraft systems, with practical training at Wilson Airport and Moi Air Base — an experience few schools anywhere can offer.
